Facing Our Fears

WOWgroup Global Fellowship NY had the priviledge of watching the premiere of Toby Adventures
(Monster & Me). After we watched the short animated film we were able to begin our message.

Minister Tanya Merced posed the following three questions:

1. As a child of God does fear fit who you are?
2. Do you have a reason to be afraid?
3. What do you fear most in life?

WOWgroup Global Fellowship NY searched the scriptures.

Isaiah 41:10 The Message

"Don't panic. I'm with you.

There's no need to fear for I'm your God.

I'll give you strength. I'll help you.

I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.

We discovered that when we are facing a very difficult situation we must take God at His Word (literally). God does not place fear within us. He has equipped us to do all those things He requires each believer to do. The problem is that many of us are not believing or trusting God. We are allowing our imagination (fears) to take over. What you imagine you are that is what you will become. (Your mind controls your body. God has the very best for you. People fail, because of the way they see themselves(fear).
